Each week our students attend a 40-minute session, where they learn their instrument by actually playing in a band.  Lessons start by playing a simple song of two chords with a basic beat, then move onto the chords needed for the next song, until in a very short time, students have learnt a collection of chords and rhythms that can be applied to thousands of songs!

From the very first lesson, students are playing together: drums, keyboard, guitars, basses & vocals.  This gives a sense of achievement and teamwork from the very beginning.  In a short time the student will cover various styles from the foundations of rock music with Elvis and the 12-bar blues, have a taste of country, then move onto the 'Greenday', 'Nickelback', P!nk and 'Jet' of today.

We have many instruments available for use including electric guitars (in several colours!) basses, keyboards, electronic drum kits and professional sound gear at our studio or bring your own guitar if you prefer. We incorporate the PlayStation games Guitar Hero, SingStar and High School Musical Dance as they teach co-ordination and rhythm, expose the student to differing musical styles and motivate in the extreme!!

The cost of a 40 minute lesson is $15 per student - 2 or more students from the same family pay only $13 each!! We follow the Queensland state school terms and hold master classes and workshops during the holidays.
