Singing classes are run in groups for 40 minutes, starting with 'warm-up' songs from 50's classics to today's hits.  Students then sing solos, which are own choice. As they sing their short solo item, positive feedback is given on ways to improve and strengthen the voice (including breath control, pitch, pronunciation, microphone technique and stage presence).  Groups then work on 'performance songs', including dance moves,  harmonies if appropriate, and audience involvement. These pieces become part of the group's repertoire,  which can be performed in public when ready.

The cost of a 40 minute lesson is $15 per student - 2 or more students from the same family pay only $13 each!!   Many of our students have brothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, grandmas etc all attending in their own groups!  Lessons follow Queensland school terms, and are held Mondays to Saturdays. Students perform regularly at school fetes, local celebrations such as the Toowoomba Show, the Carnival of Flowers, Australia Day and Christmas concerts. This helps our students gain confidence performing in public, which enhances other activities in life such as public speaking, auditioning for school musicals, Eisteddfods, other competitions, and general social situations.
